When it is all said and done one of the best part about being a wedding planner is helping wonderful clients pull together their perfect day. Having them leave the evening with memories that will last a life time is a great feeling for them (and us)! Anne had a wonderful time designing and creating for Anh and Michael at the National Women’s in the Arts Museum. Amaryllis outdid themselves *again* by helping the couple pull off all the gorgeousness with the flowers. Nick Khazal of Vi Photography was the creative mind behind the eye candy. Enjoy.
Anne had a wonderful time bringing together Erinn & Kyle’s classic DC wedding. If you missed it check out their ceremony and reception on one of our favorite blogs, United With Love. These lovely photos were taken by Kelsey Thompson.
It was such an utter delight to work with Erin and Ali on this gorgeous wedding. I truly poured my heart into all the details and they were willing (if not super excited) participants in the whole planning process. Collaborating, designing, scheduling and working with this couple was so much fun and their appreciation for all the vendors involved was amazing. We had a great team that helped us put together an unforgettably modern and stunning event. I was excited when both the Washingtonian Bridal Party blog and Vera Wang Unveiled wanted to highlight this wedding as well. On of my favorite details was the “Love Story” (from Blue Sky Films) video we played at the reception, before dancing got started. It was a huge hit with all the guests (and to be honest, the shout out at the end was so exciting for me!)
xoxo, Lauren

Yesterday the gals over at Southern Weddings blogged Meghan & Mike’s charming wedding. Thank you Meghan and Southern Weddings for the sweet words about Atrendy. We really appreciate it.
Meghan was doing Missionary work in another country when her father and step mom contacted me and hired me to do their daughter’s wedding. I think they knew Meghan and I would get along great. Weeks later I met Meghan, I instantly liked her. I knew she was my type of bride. When we met the ideas started flowing and the creation of their lovely wedding came to life. She wanted something fresh and memorable. It was a Sunday afternoon wedding with LOTS of charm including, flavored Italian sodas, a game room, caramel apples, flavored pumpkin seeds, hot apple cider before the ceremony, a dessert station and a fun photo booth. It was a really beauiful wedding and I was so happy to be apart of something so special.
During the holidays I received a wonderful card from them. I always LOVE hearing from my clients after their wedding! Enjoy these photos from the very talented Kate Headley.
Planning Jen + Josh’s wedding was such a delight! I loved everything about it from the very start since it was the kind of event I would plan for myself - a romantic garden wedding with a soft green + light pink palette. We brought together an amazing team of vendors for this charming & intimate affair, planning for an outdoor garden ceremony, cocktails on the lawn and dinner under the stars set below the amazing linden trees at the Meridian House. Well unfortunately, the weather had other plans for us but thankfully we had a wonderful “plan b” {just as every wedding should}! The evening turned out beautiful & magical, despite the heavy rain - in fact, many guests weren’t even aware that the ceremony and dinner were suppose to take place outdoors. I loved getting to know Jen + Josh, they are such a down to earth and genuine couple and I wish them lots of love & happiness in the years to come!
xx, Anne
