We are always dreaming up weddings around here at Atrendy. Our ideas are sometimes intimate and sweet and other times they are over the top and Grand. Nonetheless, we love weddings! This is what each of us would dream up today if we had to (twist our arm)!

Anne- My “wanted” wedding is a preppy chic garden party. A subtle, yet sophisticated feel of “Kate Spade marries J. Crew”. I see an abundance of fresh & full flowers in soft spring hues (peach, yellow & pink) accented with shades of blue and lots of stylish details to bring it all together.

Lauren- subtle sophisticated details and lots of personality with the color palate of slate, black, white and rose. I love the tone that the color slate evokes – calming, classic and refined while rose and white bring a touch of femininity and fun! I envision the ceremony taking place at dusk outside with the reception to follow under the stars – sans tent! – but loads of white lights and candles. Music is fun, the food is memorable and the bride & groom leave knowing they were able to enjoy it all!

Pam- Frills + Modern elements= A pretty fun wedding! I imagine hues of yellows and grays throughout the cocktail and dinner areas. Bridesmaids in short knee length spring dresses and guys in light gray suits and striped ties. A grassy lawn for cocktail hour with fun music to get the party started and delicious small bites passed by waiters in bistro aprons. A loft-like style for the dinner reception area with long family style tables, different shades of yellow flowers decorating the tables. LOTS of frilly & modern details to pull together a nice flowing wedding. Did I mention…. {Lots of laughter}

Happy Planning,

Anne, Lauren & Pam

So, I met with a fabulous friend the other day who is a photographer in our area. She was a wealth of information! You know, you have those friends too the ones that you listen to their every word because your in “awe” with what comes out of their mouth! I left the lunch energized and wanting to do 100 things to make a difference in the wedding world (a world that I love)! This wonderful friend told me I should simply “chat” more about what I’m thinking and post it on the blog. Using my knowledge, thoughts, ideas and fun facts to reach out to all of you fabulous people. With that said, here it is “Trendy Chatter”. From time to time we will tell you whats on our minds and share our chatter with you! Here is our first one.

I’m very excited to share Lindsay & Tyson’s wedding with you. It was the sweetest wedding ever! We literally used close to 200 peaches in this wedding. I probably wont be able to share it with you for awhile because Southern Weddings magazine is going to publish it. The magazine should be coming out in August. However, I wanted to share with all of you a thank you I recieved from Lindsay. She holds a special spot in my heart. This is why I do what I do for a living!

Pam

I can’t wait to send you a formal “thank you” note (although that is coming).

I wanted you to know that so many of our guests commented that our wedding was the best wedding they had been too – ever.

We can’t begin to express how wonderful you made our wedding. You were so committed – that came from the place inside of you that wishes to spread joy and love to your clients. You were our guardian angel.

You are truly a special and incredibly talented planner. We just fell in love with you.

All the best – we will being communicating soon.

XO

Lindsay
