Yesterday was a busy day for the Atrenday gals. We got up bright and early, coffee in hand, and we headed to gorgeous Charlottesville, Virginia. A perfect destination wedding spot for many DC couples. We had a tight schedule, but we managed to visit some of the best that Charlottesville has to offer. Our first stop was Veritas Vineyards & Winery, a personal favorite. Not only did we get to see how beautiful Veritas Vineyards was from Jill & Rebecca, but they also gave us a personal wine tasting. The wine and champagne are outstanding!

We proceeded to meet up for Lunch with Liz & Lauren from Skyline Tents at a quaint little restaurant in the town of Charlottesville. We chatted about their beautiful tents while eating the most amazing soup. These girls really know their stuff!

The next stop was visiting the new venue Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Whitney showed us around, and, oh my, was it ever gorgeous. I would love for my house to look a lot like Pippin! Soft and natural colors everywhere with a touch of light blue. Anne loved the bridal room while Lauren fell in love with the cocktail area. The view for the ceremony was breathtaking!

Our last stop was visiting Shawn at Beehive Events. She really runs a tight ship over there. Her decor is absolutely amazing. Not to mention her land, barn and her husband’s delicious “homemade” Spanish cuisine! Thanks for inviting us into your hearts and home. We are VERY excited to work with them again (and again).

The trip was worth the early morning drive and late night chatter while munching on Lauren’s yummy cookies.
