A few weeks back, the Atrendy ladies Anne and Lauren had the opportunity to attend an event called Out Standing in the Field. “This traveling one-of-a-kind culinary experience is all about “re-connect[ing] diners to the land and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate it”. At the start of the event, guests are served a glass of wine followed by a brief tour of the farm.  Following the tour, everyone is seated at long tables to enjoy a family-style meal and hear from the local producers and their craft. Using farm-fresh and locally cultivated foods, these traveling chef-extraordinaire create a restaurant-quality meal minus the restaurant!
